You should also make sure the ladder is kept away from ceiling or light fixtures to avoid fans to reduce the chance of bumping into them when climbing up and down. Additionally, you should regularly check the bunk bed for signs of wear and tear, particularly any squeaks which could indicate a problem with the bed or components that may compromise the stability or safety of the bed.
